Young Artist Competition

Young Artist Competition

Competition:

The Racine Symphony Orchestra is pleased to invite all students studying orchestral instruments or piano in grades 9-12 to compete in the 2025 Racine Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artists’ Competition on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at UW Parkside.

The first-place winner will perform with the Racine Symphony in our June Pops Concert. Cash Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place finalists.

The Young Artists Competition is a decades-long running program designed to highlight the most advanced, young classically-trained musicians in Racine County. Adjudicated by regional professional musicians, the winner of the competition is featured in a concerto performance during the April Masterworks Concert. The most recent winners were oboist Magdalena Masur (2024), Lydia Morency (2023), Ashely Springer (2022) and Nolan Boerner (2021). The Competition is open and free to the public.

If you have any specific questions, please email the office at info@racinesymphony.org.
