Music Is Essential
Dear RSO Patrons
We hope that this message finds you well.
During this time of great uncertainty, we wanted to let you know that the Racine Symphony Orchestra is still here and working to fulfill our mission to enrich, educate and entertain our community through the power of music. While feasibility of live events for our 2020-21 Season remains uncertain, we are working behind the scenes on alternate ways to deliver engaging and entertaining content.
First, we are developing options to deliver high-quality performances and educational programming via online platforms and other means, in the event we are unable to return to the concert hall in the foreseeable future. While keeping patrons and musicians safe, this will provide much-needed entertainment and educational opportunities for everyone to enjoy.
Second, all ticket prices are frozen for the 2020-21 Season – there will be NO increase in price. Additionally, we are extending deadlines for table seating at Pops concerts.
Since the situation is continually evolving, so too will our response; flexibility is vitally important. We pledge to keep you informed regarding our programs and how to access them and ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters. Our staff remains available, so please reach out via email or phone with any ideas or concerns. We would love to hear from you.
Lastly, please know that we are tremendously grateful for the support we continue to receive from the Racine community and remain committed to delivering valuable performance and educational content by conventional and unconventional means.
The music will go on. Together we – patrons, musicians, staff and the entire Racine community – will make that happen. Music is essential!!!
